Year 2014: Good and Bad Points

I think that the 2014 year was a great year. It was bad things but in general, it was a good year. In my carrier, we made two short films with a really good critics and grades. The first short film was “Santa Clarita”, directed by my friend patricio. I directed the photography of the film and was so fun. The script was very interesting, the actors were very funny and the team work works perfectly. It was a good project and we gain a lot of experience for our next works.

The next good thing was the selection of my project and the possibility to record the second semester. It was a nice surprise, and me and my team work a lot. Is hard to communicate to you how much time we expend in correct the scrip, define and chose the actors, prepare the production, etc. And finally we record the short film. The montage part was long and tedious because you have to see your material one, two, three, fifteen, twenty-five times to be sure that the film likes you.  But at the end, we were happy with the result of all the time and work put on the project.

The next things that happen to me in the 2014 year were more personal, someone’s sadder and others happier. But the year, in general, teach me a lot of things. In fact, it was one of my best years in the university when I discover a lot of more things of do films.   

My travel experience to Bolivia - Peru.

I had the lucky to travel and know a lot of places in the world. I had been in Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and the United States. Know, maybe you think that the most exciting trip was the United States, Brazil or Mexico. But no, my best holidays were in Bolivia and Peru.

I went with, in that time, my girlfriend and two friends. They take a plane to Bolivia, but I don’t have the money to pay a fly, so I went in a bus. At Iquique, I have to take the bus to Bolivia alone, cross the countries and arrive to La Paz. My girlfriend and my friends were in Santiago because they flight was be in two more days. So I arrive alone to Bolivia, I found a cousin of my girlfriend and stay in her home. I knew wonderful people.
My travel team arrives to Bolivia. We get together and we start the travel to Peru in bus. It was a great travel with beautiful landscapes, awesome people that we meet, excellent food, etc. We arrive to Peru and we discover a great culture. It was a fantastic trip.

Scorsese, the film director, and Jagger, the front man of The Rolling Stones, will work together for produce a new TV Series.

In 2016, a new TV series will premiere on HBO. We are talking about “Vinyl”, a Co-produced TV series by Martin Scorsese and Mike Jagger. Set in NY in the 1070, “Vinyl” it’s going to recreate a record label called “American Century Records”, touching themes like drugs, sex and all the things that comes with the Rock and Roll. 

Riche Finestra, the protagonist, is a good producer. He has the ear for listen and buys good products, but one decision put Finestra on a heavy trouble, and will make his life a mess meanwhile the punk and the disco music were emerging.

The idea was origin in 2010 by Jagger. The original idea was two friends living through decades of the music time and music business, from 60’s to contemporary hip-hop.  All the announcements will be show up in December.

Terence Winter, “The sopranos” Writer will be on the “Vinyl” team working on script. Others involved on the TV show will be Juno Temple, PJ Byrne, Joe Caniano, Andrew Dice Clay, JC Mackenzie, and Brigitte Sorensen.

This is not the first time that Martin Scorsese and Mike Jagger work together in a film or in a project. Scorsese, in 2006, direct a documentary about the Rolling Stones called “Shine a Light” filmed on their “A Bigger Bang Tour”.
